Roger Hickey
Roger Hickey is co-director and co-founder of the Campaign for America’s Future and the Institute for America’s Future. Over the history of CAF, he has helped lead major efforts to protect and expand the U.S. social insurance system and advance the interests of American labor. He also was a founder and communications director of the Economic Policy Institute, a Washington think tank that looks at economics from the point of view of working Americans, as well as a founder of the Public Media Center in San Francisco, which helps advocacy organizations come up with media campaigns that will successfully effect social change. A graduate of the University of Virginia, Hickey began his career in the 1960s as an organizer for the Virginia Civil Rights Committee.

Dr. Janet Dewart Bell
Janet Dewart Bell is a social justice activist with a doctorate in leadership and change from Antioch University. She founded the Derrick Bell Lecture on Race in American Society at NYU Law School, and has been a key strategist and senior executive at national organizations including The Opportunity Agenda, PolicyLink, the National Urban League, the National Committee on Household Employment, and NPR. She recently authored Lighting the Fires of Freedom: African American Women in the Civil Rights Movement and Blackbirds Singing: Black Women’s Speeches from the Civil War to the Twenty-First Century.

Robert Borosage
Robert L. Borosage is a leading progressive writer, activist, and co-founder of a range of progressive organizations including the Campaign for America’s Future, ProgressiveMajority, and ProgressiveCongress.org. He guided the Institute for Policy Studies for nearly a decade, and served as issues director for the Jesse Jackson 1988 presidential campaign. A contributing editor of The Nation, Borosage’s articles have been published by Reuters, the Huffington Post, Progressive Breakfast, the Washington Post and the New York Times.

Larry Cohen
Larry Cohen is the chairman of Our Revolution, which — formed by Bernie Sanders — is leading the fight to transform American politics to make our political and economic systems responsive to working families. He is former President of the Communication Workers of America, representing 700,000 workers in Canada and the United States. A former adviser to Senator Sen. Sanders, Cohen is also vice-chair of the DNC’s Unity Reform Commission, where he led the party’s recent superdelegate reform. On the global scene, Cohen has also worked to strengthen the effectiveness and solidarity of the international labor movement. He expanded alliances with CWA’s counterpart unions in Latin America, Europe and Asia, and was elected president of the 2.5 million-worker Union Network International Telecom Sector in 2001, serving until 2007. As president, he built alliances and support for telecom workers around the world, including in Mexico, Taiwan, South Africa, Germany and other countries.

Jeff Faux

Faux worked as an economist in the Departments of State, Labor and Commerce, a manager in the finance industry, a blueberry farmer, and a member of a municipal planning board in the State of Maine. He’s been an advisor to governments, trade unions, businesses, political campaigns, and community organizations. He’s lectured in Europe, Latin America, and Asia, sits on the boards of several of non-profit institutions and magazines, has written articles for numerous newspapers, magazines and journals, has testified before Congress, and has appeared many times on television and radio.
